Contest Rules
Exhibitors must adhere to the General Rules for the Harford Fair listed here.
- To enter: go to www.harfordfair.com, click on the link and follow the directions to enter online or use the general entry blank below.
- Exhibitor must be a resident of Pennsylvania.
- One entry per exhibitor.
- Apron must have been made in 2026.
- Apron requirements:
- Primary fabric should be themed material showcasing Fairs and/or Carnivals.
- Types -
- half apron
- bib apron
- Entries will be judged on workmanship, worth of article, appropriateness of material and design.
- Overall Appearance - 25 points
- Creativity - 25 points
- Workmanship/Suitability - 30 points
- Design/Color - 20 points
- Entries should be made in Department 22, Section 6, Class 1.
- 1st place winner will be eligible to exhibit their apron at the 2027 PA Farm Show!
