Contest Rules

Exhibitors must adhere to the General Rules for the Harford Fair listed here.

  1. This event will be following the Dark Horse Lumberjack Shows Rules. Please contact Ben Marshall or the Harford Fair Secretary’s Office for a copy of the rules.
  2. Contest is limited to first 30 registered competitors.
  3. Only participants will be allowed in the arena. No unauthorized people will be allowed in the arena.
  4. ALL CLASSES MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED. NOTE: Any changes/scratches must be submitted by August 17.
  5. PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO USE SAFETY EQUIPMENT. Participation is at contestant’s own risk.
  6. Two minutes maximum will be given for each contestant to appear for their class. No exceptions. MANDATORY MEETING AT 8:45 AM IN THE ARENA. Contest will begin at 9:00.
